Contrary to popular belief, not everyone finds you attractive.

Well people, it's been an eventful 2 days of life since my last post and oh boy my views on people have dropped a whole mile since then.

I've literally spent the past 2 days putting up with the bog-standard teenage flirtatious bullshit, drunk girls acting like whores (more so) coming onto every guy they encounter- it's like this: I don't find you, or any of the other 1,000,000 slaggy friends you have to be vaguely attractive, please piss off away from me, and attempt to flirt with one of the guys who are interested.

I'll keep shit short and sweet, I'm not stuck-up, gay or a woman-hater I have morals & standards, fuck you.

My life for Aiur.

Sorry about the absence of a blog post from yesterday, I was totally caught up in other things.. Well not really, I spent another day basking in the Sun upon the top of another hill  as well as learning to do random Pig squeals & screams- shit was so cash.

Today was no different, although I managed to write a few lines for a song- it's looking like a right cryptic fucker for people to interpret though, to understand the lyrics written so far you'd need to be me, although despite this the song is looking like it's still open for anyone else to interpret it in their own way.

Oh yeah, I managed to buy some Ipod speakers, they are a bit quiet (or so the 5 people who whined to me about them told me) but thank fuck they are getting the job done.

Expect a real post tomorrow, I'll include some early lyrics to the above song I was mentioning.

'Project Momentum', life + music project?

Well ladies & gentlemen, I read through the entirety of the UDK documentation last night, all several hundred pages of it.. Reading through it confirmed & reassured my ambitions of creating a game using the software package (refer to the previous post for information on that)

So after much thinking to myself I've decided to go ahead with the idea, the current name I'm calling this project is 'momentum' this will be a solo project (maybe I'll call upon a few Real-life friends of mine for some guidance & expertise if needed) it will be developed in my spare time- so there's no pressure of release dates & schedules for me to work to.

I'll leave you to think about this 'lil nugget of information, as well as providing you a quick mock-up of a Splash-screen logo I came up with.

Onto my life in general, I spent the most part of today lying in shorts and a shirt in the sun on the top of a hill. Despite the relatively large crowds of drunken teenagers nearby it was a relaxing & somewhat therapeutic experience for me + I tanned to some degree all over, totally winning right there.

Oh yeah, I need to get some decent Earphones & some Ipod speakers ASAP.

And last but certainly not least, I've been wanting to write about this for ages now.. Well a whole 15 minutes but still. I'm quite excited to announce I'm going to form a band.
No, not a jazz band, not a Deathcore / Hardcore / Metalcore band like everyone & their mum is forming these days. I'm talking about a Post-Hardcore band with Alt-Rock elements to it (for the unawares, think of generally clean vocals with some use of screaming, strong guitar & constant rhythms throughout). I'd like to maybe do a few Hardcore covers for shits & giggles though.

Currently it's consisting of just me doing the vocals, as I've yet to mention this to anyone else bar a few online associates of mine. Hopefully in time I'll be able to round me up a few other like-minded people so we can get a line-up sorted, but I'm not going to rush things.

I'd be ideally wanting us to sound similar to that of Saosin's early years, think Translating the name, up until Bury your head was released. The material they released in that time-frame was just gold-dust, both instrumentally and lyrically.

(If you're unaware of who Saosin were / are, refer to the video below)

That's all for tonight folks, I'll probably whine / post about some more unimportant crap tomorrow.

The UDK & life

Well last year the video games giants 'Unreal software' released a software package called the UDK (Unreal development kit) catered towards independent games developers & enthusiasts. I've recently gotten around to re-acquiring this software package and I'm now in the planning stages of what will be a first-person platforming game.

Stylistically I want it to have that sleek & bleached look we see in Mirror's edge (if you're unaware as to what Mirror's edge looks like, look no further than the screenshot below.
Mirror's edge - An amazing game to play.

So far things are extremely basic- I've messed about with some small maps to act as test levels for features as I develop them. As for how the game will play, I want the game to work using similar mechanics to portal (physics-based puzzles) but with the parkour elements of Mirror's edge.

Oh yeah, my life. In short it's taken a drastic turn-around recently. As most of those I'm closest to know I've gave up on using social networking sites- meaning for many of you, this blog is your only link to seeing how I'm doing in life!

I'm not missing the Facebook experience one bit, I feel rather liberated as a result of leaving it.. I'll probably come back for a bit when the new college term begins in September to see how a few people are doing etc though.

In other news I've re-discovered my singing voice, albeit I sound like a 12 year-old kid when singing.. but I'm getting there, maybe I'll post some stuff on here some time.

That's all for now folks!
